A Catchy Indie-Electro Track From Dylan Emmet With ‘No Chill’

By Lucy LernerApril 1, 2019
Dylan Emmet

Dylan Emmet‘No Chill’ is the sumptuously catchy new song from indie-pop singer-songwriter and producer Dylan Emmet. The track follows his recent collaboration with Leonell Cassio, ‘Lie 2 You,’ being featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday in Sweden as well as his latest single ‘Memory’ reaching #5 on the Hype Machine Popular Chart.

Combining punchy pop vibes with indie-electro, Dylan hits the mark with this synth-driven track which is about being in a new relationship.

“Writing No Chill, I wanted to capture that fun, exciting and scared to death feeling you get in the beginning of a new relationship. The feeling when you are really into someone but are trying to play it cool because you don’t want to show all of your cards. In my experience, it never works. In the end, you will eventually have that conversation, cracking up about how nervous you both were when you first met.”

Dylan began releasing a series of heartfelt songs after finding out about a two-year-old daughter he never knew existed. He documented his journey starting with leaving LA to becoming an instant father in New York pretty much overnight. Now living with his daughter in New York, Dylan writes and produces for many artists in both cities.
