Shine Bright With RVBY’s New Single ‘Glow’
Today is the day you glow bright courtesy of RVBY’s new single which is so uplifting and perfectly reflects the name of the song thanks to shimmering synths and crystalline vocals.
‘Glow’ is RVBY’s third single of the year and it’s released via Funnel Music. Despite the upbeat feel it is a very personal song to the young artist and is about how other people’s jealousy has encouraged her to have a stronger sense of self-worth. She says, “The vibe of ‘Glow’ is positive — I’m letting them know that while they might have got to me, the effect is that they’ve
only made me more hungry for success.”
‘Glow’ is also the name of Spotify playlist filled with tracks RVBY draws inspiration from. She is inspired by finding a way to glow, stay positive and don’t get dragged down by negativity – she has even had the word ‘glow’ tattooed on her arm.
Neon Music saw RVBY live recently at BBC Introducing’s Abbie McCarthy’s Gold Dust event at Notting Hill Arts Club, performing alongside the likes of Emilia Tarrant, Elm, and Adam Rom and we were impressed by her ethos and talent.
RVBY has also supported Georgia Box at the Islington Academy, performed at Dot to Dot Festival and Liverpool’s Sound City as well as Abbie McCarthy’s other curated night at Karma Club.
It’s certainly RVBY’s time to glow.
