Juliet July returns with her sublime EP Palm Trees in the Mist. If you are unable to travel this summer then let the lush tones envelop you in a mellow warmth. The single Gone features the sound effects of rain on the window and seductive vocals and sultry R&B makes you imagine luxuriating at home with a loved one while the summer rain falls outside.

The Dutch singer-songwriter casts a sensuous silhouette with her music which merges R&B, soul, and jazz. Gone gently blooms with romantic possibilities and the melody will linger long in your mind. The EP is a reflective project with themes of love and lust as well as heartbreak and sorrow.

“Palm trees represent happiness, joy, warmth, The Mist represents more heavy, sad and dark emotions. ‘Palm trees in the mist’ combined, creates a symbolism for me to keep seeing the ‘Silver Livings’ in whatever situation life throws at us.” – Juliet July
