Sasha Keable Feel Something Review: Raw R&B And A Wreck You Can’t Look Away From

British Colombian singer songwriter Sasha Keable doesn’t flinch on Feel Something, a track born from what she calls being “numb” and craving a hit of feeling, no matter how messy.
“I was feeling numb at the time, what would you do to not feel numb anymore?” she said.
It’s all there when she mutters, “Feels like I’m driving 95 with no lights on, no seatbelt, on a terminated license,” her verses rolling over a beat that snaps like a retro boom bap from the 80s, soulful, funky, impossible not to bump along to.
The hook lands harder because the gospel sounding choir is raw, unfiltered and soulful.
It moves you first, then you realise it’s all her, stacked rough, each line pushing “I just wanna feel something” closer to the edge.
That heavy tone didn’t just happen. On Terrell’s Youtube, she talks about building her sound on Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder and Mary J. Blige and credits her Colombian roots for that streak of real soul.
She wrote the song in under two hours because, in her words, “I needed to say what I needed to say.”
The video doesn’t soften it either. A flipped car, steam curling off the bonnet, scratches she doesn’t bother to hide.
She’s been fine tuning this edge for a while. Sasha’s always made it clear music is the thing that pulls her through, the one thing that puts her back on track when nothing else does.
Feel Something follows on from the biting Act Right, which she performed live on Later…With Jools Holland, tying into a bigger EP she’s described as a whole story of betrayal turned into something you can feel.
Sasha’s not here to patch things up. She’d rather press the bruise just to know it’s real.
This track stays rich, soulful and rough around the edges, the kind of vibe that hits deep enough to stick.
It’s no surprise she’s your favourite artist’s favourite artist. Even Queen Bey’s got Sasha Keable on repeat.

Sasha Keable Feel Something Lyrics
Verse 1
You don’t even know my name
But you still want me, yeah
I don’t wanna play your games
But you still haunt me, yeah
It might be more of the same
But when I’m lonely, yeah
Chorus
I just wanna feel something, something
I just wanna feel something, something
Verse 2
Feels like I’m drivin’ 95 with no lights on
No seatbelt on a terminated licence
Last week, I was tangled up with a python
Double back on my ex, I was tryna heal something
POV, can you picture me with your eyes closed?
Trucks on comin’, my head’s hanging out the window
Oh, shit! That was real close
Chorus
I just wanna feel something, something (I just wanna feel, oh)
I just wanna feel something, something (I just wanna feel, oh)
I just wanna feel something, something (Feel something, yeah)
I just wanna feel something, something (Yeah, yeah, uh)
Bridge
Touch me like I’ve never known
Touch me like I’ve never known
Touch me like I’ve never known
Oh, baby, won’t you touch me, baby
Touch me like I’ve never known (Touch me)
Touch me like I’ve never known (Touch me)
Touch me like I’ve never known (Touch me)
Chorus
I just wanna feel something, something (I just wanna feel)
I just wanna feel something, something
I just wanna feel something, something
I just wanna feel something, something (Something, oh)
Outro
I just wanna feel something that you can’t, hoe
Maybe
I just wanna
Get you lovin’ good, you can’t devote to
Can you put your hands up in the motherfucking sky?
Put your hands up in the motherfucking sky
