You don’t have to be a fan of Scooby-Doo to appreciate California artist Scoobert Doobert and his latest track Shaggy’s Anthem. It’s a unique guitar-driven song with an incredibly catchy melody. Despite the mellow sounding tones, the track has a darker theme. Inspired by the character Shaggy in Scooby-Doo it’s about pushing through and overcoming your fears. Shaggy was always scared in the cartoon but he would often be the reason the group would catch the bad guy.

“Shaggy’s Anthem is about feeling terrified but overcoming it. About taking a stand while our knees are shaking. Without fear, there is no courage.” – Scoobert Doobert

There are many themse in the song which makes it even more interesting and these can be depicted in the fun visuals disguised as a zoom chat. Shaggy’s Anthem has an indie/alt-rock feel and makes you intrigued to find out more about the artist behind it who started out making music with his friends in high school.
