The song loses the pop tones from the original release and focuses on dreamy vocals with a piano led direction. The two artists complement each other with expressive vocals which have gentle undertones and sublime harmonies.
I Can Be Cool is about how a person can change their personality and habits in order to be with the one they love.

Amberlake is the new project by guitarist and producer Nick Tsang who has played guitar on tour for artists including Ed Sheeran and Charli XCX as well as producing and songwriting with Nina Nesbitt and Jess Glynne.
