‘Fireworks’ Is The Latest Captivating Track From Seaker

fireworks latest captivating track from seakerFireworks is the latest offering from London based Seaker and is a captivating track, brimming with raw emotion and atmosphere. It is simplistic, but that is part of its charm. It emulates the lyrical content perfectly, encapsulating the tender, bittersweet nature of a relationship.

Kiran Hungin’s vocal performance is powerfully delivered, and this track masterfully showcases her ability as a singer and songwriter. ‘Fireworks’ sounds ethereal and otherworldly. Heavenly and dreamlike. Hypnotic and comforting.

Delicate pianos, circling her voice tenderly, before some heavy hitting drums start crashing down adding the equivalent to a force of nature to proceedings.

There is something special, something I was struggling to put my finger on when listening to this track. It is a track that could have been in Kate Bush’s catalogue of music. It is a track that wonderfully shows how sometimes, less is more. How adding more than is necessary can subtract from the finished piece.

“I try to make music that is epic and delicate at the same time. I love those spine-tingly moments when there’s an unexpected emotional twist in a song or a tiny whispered vocal moves into a huge layered block of sound. When I was a kid, it was sad, vast, filmic songs that always got me. I think for a long time I associated art with sadness and only took something seriously in an artistic sense if it was melancholic. I think that shows still in how I write, though I also feel very full of hope and wonder… so it’s not all doom and gloom,” Seaker says.

This description perfectly sums up ‘Fireworks’.  A song that could be seen in a number of movies, and many real-world situations. There is a pain to Kiran’s voice, perfectly capturing a sorrow and internal struggle which will be highly relatable to listeners on many levels, and will making them press play again.

When listened to on decent headphones, like the HD660’s I am using, the production screams of quality. ‘Fireworks’ has so much dynamic range, and that is something that also helps this track seem so exquisite, beautiful and so very haunting.

Filling the atmosphere of the track are numerous effects and sounds, and they somehow add even greater depth and character to this track musically. They work so well with the piano and vocal work and make things seem so much airier and dreamlike. The kind of dream where you are flying, arms outstretched and heading towards an unknown destination.

This is a track written and recorded outstandingly and deserves to be listened to and enjoyed.
