Triple Threat Raphaella Releases New EP ‘Imagine’

By Jessica RhuleJune 13, 2018
Raphaella

If you could fuse both electronic and pop music together with elements of R&B that would be the best way to describe North London Singer-songwriter and Producer Raphaella’s newly released EP ‘Imagine’. Consisting of 4 tracks which all differ from each other but add that extra something to complete the full package. We are introduced to the EP via titular track ‘Imagine’ which is quite stripped back with mainly a piano, drums, and vocals which are given room to shine through. The song is filled with a lot of emotion that is apparent through the vocals whilst also being one bound to get you singing along to. Followed by the more uptempo track ‘Love Sick’ which has a more dance vibe feel throughout especially during the strong, anthemic hook. Next is ‘Read My Mind’ which showcases the songstress’s vocals accompanied by an ambient filled instrumental. Lastly, the EP rounds off with the feel-good tropical ‘Good Life’ which is about loving life and living in the moment.

Raphaella has had the opportunity to collaborate with some popular UK Talent including Rudimental, MNEK, Steel Banglez and MIST in 2017. She has gained over 60 million streams and counting on Spotify as well as support from tastemakers and publications, BBC1Xtra’s DJ’s Mistajam and DJ Target who recognize her versatile songwriting and production.

Raphaella’s talent is undeniable and it glows from the EP which she wrote, performed and produced herself. She also released single after single in the weeks leading up to the EP launch. Raphaella has the potential to reach even greater heights by continuing to create more exciting music which she is no doubt working on right now. Be sure to look out for what’s next to come.
