An Unlikely Hero, ‘Life Of Sampson’ By The Tailormade

By Lucy LernerJune 21, 2018

Unique British trio, The Tailormade has had a busy year so far and to top it off, have recently released their EP ‘Life Of Sampson’ which features previous singles ‘Mr Perfect’ and ‘Primrose Hill’. The title of the EP reflects the biographical fictional character called Sampson who has featured in their videos ‘Spinning Around’ and ‘Mug’.
The project is a mixture of emotions and each track reflects different moments in Sampson’s life. From jealousy to heartbreak and, of course, love. The Tailormade is very honest and very real and their lyrics and cheeky personalities resonate with listeners.

The group comments on their latest EP, “We all go through life at a rapid pace. Sometimes it’s can be a whirlwind of greatness and sometimes we just need a release from reality. Introducing Sampson. Sampson is that little part of us that comes out at 4 am calling the ex-girlfriend. He’s the ‘why not’ in your head when your colleagues ask you out for drinks on a Friday night, and he’s certainly your guy if you’re looking for the wrong thing to say at the wrong moment. The EP takes you through a secondary world where we all exist as our rebellious characters, and Sampson the unlikely hero in our tale takes on Love, Jealousy, and of course drinking.”

The Tailormade will be performing at British Summer Time Hyde Park on 13th July. You can buy tickets here.
