TGC Sets Hearts Racing With Their New Single ‘ECG’

By Alexandra ChrysostomouSeptember 11, 2018

Electronic pop duo TGC (The Green Children), have released their dreamy new single ‘ECG.’ The pair has enhanced the use of synthesizers and captured an ethereal sound, blending seamlessly into Milla Sunde’s angelic voice.

In comparison to their previous singles, the vocals on ‘ECG’ sound more sensual and syrupy sweet, with echoing loops that arouse an almost celestial effect. Milla’s vocal range is somewhat restricted by this honeyed tone, but the harmonies prove her versatility as an artist and compliment each other well.

The song tells a deep tale of forbidden love, where TGC explain that “ECG is about an undeniable love attraction to someone you shouldn’t really be with. It was one of those songs that came to us very quickly which is usually a good sign.”

TGC have harnessed a distinctive synth-pop sound which sends listeners on a blissful journey through ‘neon-lit forests,’ and will hopefully continue through future releases.

Stream ‘ECG’.
