SILVASTONE’s 15 track EP shows off his versatility when it comes to blending various music genres from Hip-hop, R&B, Soul, Trap to Dancehall and of course the ever prominent Afro-beats for which he is renowned.
The EP includes current smash hit ‘Incredible’ featuring Ike Chuks and also the summer jam that was ‘Remedy’ featuring Frank T Blucas.
‘Are You On It’ is a dreamy, sultry track and ‘Still’ featuring Vicky Sola is a hypnotic love song. There are fast tempo songs and slower numbers, so something to cater to every mood, everyone. It is a great EP to listen to from beginning to end and also to dip in and out of. The overall feeling you get when you listen to ‘LEVELS’ is a sense of feeling positive and enjoying life which is what SILVASTONE is all about.
‘Together’ has hit single written all over it with its unmistakable African influence and catchy melody. ‘Blow My Mind’ is a fantastic club track with a pulsing beat. The EP comes to a close with ‘Run For You’ a real highlight. Slightly haunting, but with that omnipresent dance and afro-beats vibe.
SILVASTONE says of his new EP, “LEVELS vibrantly reflects the continued growth in me as an artist and proudly encompasses much of where am at right now creatively. If ‘TRANSITIONS’ was the beginning of an onward journey then ‘LEVELS’ is where I was already excitedly heading”.
It is obvious SILVASTONE has put his heart and soul into this EP from the production to the song-crafting, even the diversity of instrumentation which he has mostly played himself. There is one thing for sure, his music will lift you up and take you to another level.
