Peter and Kerry Explore Their Emotions In Heartfelt New Single

By Lucy LernerFebruary 8, 2019
Peter and Kerry

Peter and KerryThis beautiful new song from Peter and Kerry really tugs at your heartstrings and having been fortunate to hear a preview before the release date, it’s been on my mind all week. With a gentle yearning and soft vulnerability ‘They Know God (But I Know You)’, is a piano-led ballad about the strength given and received in close relationships.

“all I can think to bring is flowers,
in the bed, I watched you for hours
I’ll comfort you as best I can
if you need, if you need me, you can call
if you need, if you need me, if you need me, if you need me”

Peter and Kerry released their comeback single ‘Cold Hugs‘ last Autumn and they have previously toured with Lianne La Havas, Lucy Rose and Laura Mvula. They know what’s current and what will relate to their listeners by exploring dreamy synth-pop in their own unique style.

‘They Know God (But I Know You)’ has been self-produced and self-financed in Peter and Kerry’s south London studios, and released today via Ferocious/ Kobalt label services.
