Lucas Davies Releases His Melancholy New Single Box

Lucas Davies releases his melancholy new single Box. Soulful vocals coat expressive piano lines and emotive acoustics. Box is a reflective track that exudes intense vulnerability.

The Vancouver based singer-songwriter and producer has found his niche with honest music which strikes a chord with its listeners. His debut album Hold On, Summer is packed with melodic, heartfelt songs that make use of stunning instruments and tell a story. Box in particular resonates with the theme of feeling trapped – haven’t we all felt as if we were living in a box this year? It is metaphorical though and can have various meanings depending on how you interpret it.

“This song is about the feeling of your life being trapped inside a box.”
– Lucas Davies

Lucas Davies’ debut album Hold On, Summer is out now.
