Lana Del Rey Is At Her Best With New Fan Track Release

By Narzra AhmedJanuary 11, 2019
Lana del Rey

Lana del ReyLana Del Rey has released her third fan track ‘hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have – but I have it’, which follows last year’s releases ‘Mariners Apartment Complex’ and ‘Venice Bitch’. The new single produced by Jack Antonoff is an understated, intimate song which showcases her perfect vocals against a simple piano backdrop. It is essentially Lana at her best.

In the song, Lana Del Rey discusses family, fame, and religion. Although the lyrics are a little ambiguous (“Hello, it’s the most famous woman you know on the iPad”), it doesn’t take away from the beauty of the track. If anything, it adds to Lana’s unique quality and reminds us of her ability to make anything memorable (think ‘Video Games’).

Lana’s sixth studio album, ‘Norman F*cking Rockwell’, is due for release later this year, with the first single from it to be released soon. It is expected that ‘Mariners Apartment Complex’ and ‘Venice Bitch’ will feature on the album. We are expecting great things, especially since Lana’s last album, ‘Lust for Life’ reached No. 1 on the UK Album Charts and earned her a Grammy nomination too.

‘hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have – but I have it’ is available now.
