Joshua Golden’s I Can’t Wait to Meet You Is a Tender Ode to Hopeful Hearts

Joshua Golden’s I Can’t Wait to Meet You Is a Tender Ode to Hopeful Hearts

Joshua Golden’s new single I Can’t Wait to Meet You sounds like the soundtrack for a heart that’s both a little bruised and achingly hopeful.

It’s rare to find a song that manages to blend sweetness with a tugging sense of longing, but Golden does it well here.

He’s singing about a feeling that’s as old as time. That lingering question of “is there someone out there for me?” and the spark of believing that someone, somewhere, is heading your way.

“I can’t wait to meet you,
I know that you’re out there somewhere,
Fingers running through your long hair
Laughing at the world with no cares
Baby, I can’t wait to see you”

Golden’s vocals, a mix of hushed warmth and yearning, carry the story of finding “the one” without overplaying the sentiment.

The acoustic backdrop gives it that late-night feeling as if you’re musing about life and love accompanied by flickering candles and a glass of wine.

There’s an intimate feel in this song – a hopeful, catchy ballad for people with a soft spot for raw, human connections.

Golden’s musical style sits comfortably between polished pop and honest, slightly unfiltered storytelling, in a way that fans of artists like Harry Styles or Post Malone will feel at home with.
