A Great New Comeback From Bombay Bicycle Club

Bombay Bicycle Club

After a bit of a break, Bombay Bicycle Club are back stronger than ever with an electrocuting new single: ‘Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)’.
The band’s signature sounds are evident from the first note, but as soon as the vocals start a new atmosphere is created. This is reminiscent of artists such as M83 and Bombay Bicycle Club get intimate with reverberated vocals and guitar loops. The song picks up quickly when Jack Steadman starts singing the first stanza, accompanied by catchy drums and original phrasing.

“Us on the bed half a meter apart, awkward hearts beating faster and faster…”

It has an upward tone, even being a love song. “I may not say it outwardly, so all I have are memories. Those looks at the start, the words in the dark…”
What struck me the most about this single is its steadiness. It never gets boring, it conquers the listener very easily and carries a great vibe. The guitars and Jack’s soothing voice make this song the perfect alt-indie tune.

With sweet lyrics and interesting melodies it is a great comeback in the music industry.

Bombay Bicycle Club did not disappoint, and this only made us more excited for what’s to come.
