“Dancing By Myself” lands as BamBam’s Thai-language pre-release single, a scene-setter for his first Thai EP HOMETOWN due 10 October 2025. 

It pairs him with Thai R&B hitmaker TIMETHAI and arrives with a glossy, after-hours music video that leans into skyline romance and light-on-your-feet choreography. 

The single went live on 12 September 2025, with streaming runtimes hovering around the two-to-three-minute pop sweet spot and over 8 million views on Youtube in one day.

The first verse flips between Thai and English as he sets the rules of engagement, “Do what you wanna do tonight,”pushing back against clingy small talk and drifting toward self-possession on the floor.

“Dancing By Myself” is BamBam’s first full Thai-language single and the opening move in a campaign depicted explicitly as a homecoming, hence HOMETOWN, and a lane-switch toward bright, straight-up dance music within Thailand’s mainstream. 

Across teasers and reposts, he punctures the mood with a dead-simple invitation, “Do what you wanna do tonight,” which reads like both a lyric cue and a user manual for the track.

Taken at face value, it’s the song’s point: agency first, permission unnecessary.

From our seat, the way it’s landing splits along a line that suits a pre-release.

The upside is immediate: Thai-language BamBam sounds natural, the TIMETHAI blend is smooth, the MV is a polished advert for night-life confidence, and the hook is built to live on short-form video without feeling like it was born in a boardroom. 

The other side of the ledger is more about appetite than execution: the structure is intentionally economical verse, hook, repeat, which may feel engineered to listeners chasing a riskier bridge or a left-turn middle eight. 

Right now, though, the compact design serves the concept; this is a song about reclaiming your space, and it wastes little time doing so.

A Thai pop review called the choreography “can’t-look-away,” which tracks with the replay culture it’s walking into.
