Add Meyta x Shib’s Where Is It To Your Chillout Summer Playlist

By Terry GuyJuly 27, 2020
Add Meyta x Shib's Where Is It To Your Chillout Summer Playlist

Add Meyta x Shib's Where Is It To Your Chillout Summer PlaylistTalented dance music producer Meyta excels in his distinctive fusion of throwback urban beats under current pop production. This is showcased on his new track Where Is It where we find the experimental musician dropping tropical house-influenced synths, alongside percussive, alternative electro vibes. Featuring vocalist Shib (reminding us of the times when Alison Goldfrapp has sung in a sultry tone over a trip-hop beat) who sends shivers down our spines with her relaxed, laid-back voice. In particular, when a sample of her vocals has been edited to form the tracks main hook, drops in the chorus sections.

However, despite how current elements of Where Is It sounds, it also gives off an R&B/pop vibe on the drum programming, reminiscent of Dave “Jam” Hall’s work on Madonna’s Urban classic Bedtime Stories.

Meyta’s new single is one to add to all your Chillout playlists this summer. Don’t miss out and give Where Is It a listen to.
