Chase Atlantic is back with their latest single ‘Like A Rockstar’ which marks the Australian three-piece group’s first release under their new partnership between MDDN and BMG. The Alt R&B group’s latest offering has a lush sonic palette and rhythmic production. The vocal harmonies really shine and the addictive song gives off a very mellow vibe.
We have been big fans of Chase Atlantic since they released ‘Triggered‘ and they continue to shine and surprise with their music remaining current yet individual. Brothers Clinton and Mitchel Cave, and their longtime friend, Christian Anthony make up Chase Atlantic who formed in 2011. Since then the trio has headlined shows worldwide, released their successful self-titled debut album in 2017, as well as two independent EPs, Dalliance (2014) and Nostalgia (2015). In 2015, their single, ‘Friends,’ went viral and caught the attention of Good Charlotte’s Joel and Benji Madden, who signed them to their music company, MDDN.
The music video is Co-directed by frequent collaborator, Ryan Watanabe, and lead guitarist, Clinton Cave, and captures the band headlining shows worldwide on-the-road, including an impressive sold-out gig at New York City’s Gramercy Theatre last November.
The band has had over 80 million global streams on Spotify and Apple Music, racked up over 7.2 million total views on YouTube, and clocked over 1.1 million monthly Spotify listeners. As well as touring with Blackbear, Sleeping With Sirens, and Lights, Chase Atlantic has played major festivals including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Firefly, Reading & Leeds, PukkelPop, Lowlands, and the final run of the Vans Warped Tour.
Chase Atlantic’s forthcoming EP ‘DON’T TRY THIS’ is set for release this month.
