One of our favourite songs from last year now has a fun and frivolous music video to match. Kat Koan’s Silly Me is colourful and eclectic and perfectly matches her playful music persona which she doesn’t take too seriously.
Silly Me is suggestive in a subtle way and there are lots of aspects and themes to enjoy within the visuals. It just reminds us how bloody good this song is. It is contemporary while retaining its retro roots, and displays foreboding synths, with an acid glow and rolling drums. Kat Koan’s acerbic vocals shine over textured sound effects.
