Skylar Grey Releases The Haunting Falling Apart

Skylar Grey Releases The Haunting Falling Apart

Sink into the mesmerising Falling Apart by the one and only Skylar Grey. The American singer-songwriter and record producer is gearing up to release her first album in 6 years on April 28th. Falling Apart is a short and bittersweet tale of looking back at your life and what could have been, “I used to have dreams, So many dreams, Now I don’t dream at all.” This fits into the theme of the album of being lost then found and transformed.

I thought that I would reach the stars
‘Til I fell down, down
Lovers will desert you
Failure will destroy you
How are we to get through
Without falling apart?
I’m falling apart

The visuals for Falling Apart match the mood of the song and elevate the hypnotic and cinematic feel. Airy vocals that soar bird-like over captivating piano chords transport you to another place entirely.

Skylar Grey has written for artists from Kehlani and Beyonce to Celine Dion and her Diamond-certified single Love The Way You Lie for Rihanna and Eminem. Known for dark lyrics and themes, Skylar Grey’s songs inspired Billie Eilish to make music.

Pre-save Skylar Grey’s album out later this month.
