Sammy Rae Introduces Theatrical New Song Living Room Floor

Sammy Rae Introduces Theatrical New Song Living Room Floor

Sammy Rae introduces her theatrical new song Living Room Floor. It displays all her talented facets from telling a narrative through expressive vocals and emotive instruments. Living Room Floor is a well-executed song which you just know would sound amazing live (see the music video for a taste of that.) Sammy Rae describes the track as Nu Jazz and it combines raw soul, and melodic jazz with a fiery passion.

“‘Living Room Floor’ is a song about finding home and contentment in the present moment. Looking hopefully towards the future without discrediting the magic and importance of the present. It is a story-song recounting coming of age moments in the living rooms of apartments gone-by.” – Sammy Rae

Sammy Rae is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter, composer, and bandleader of ‘The Friends’. Once her latest single Living Room Floor finishes you just want to press play and soak up the inimitable Sammy Rae spirit all over again.
