BRIT school graduate Jean-Mikhael is known for making his musical debut as the young Michael Jackson in London’s West End musical ‘Thriller LIVE’. Mentored by Justin Timberlake’s vocal coach he has performed at Sofar Sounds and sold out his headline show at 229 the Venue. Jean-Mikhael has also contributed his effortless vocals at People’s Day 2018 to a crowd of thousands.
The stylish artist has a unique contemporary R&B sound which pushes the boundaries of forward-thinking electronica (think previous hard-hitting tracks ‘Bullsh*t’ and ‘Diamonds & Pearls’.) Despite the fresh, modern feel of ‘Deal’ it also has essences of pure RnB nostalgia. There is a raw attitude and a soulful vulnerability which come through Jean-Mikhael’s genre-blending music.
With Jean-Mikhael’s bold songcraft, powerhouse vocals and leaning towards the theatrical, there’s no doubt ‘Deal’ is a showstopper. And this is just the beginning.
