Elderbrook Elevates With Headline One-Man Show At London’s Heaven

By Thomas HarveyNovember 1, 2018
ELDERBROOK

ELDERBROOKOn Wednesday 24th October, Elderbrook the British singer/songwriter and producer, played his biggest headline show to date with support from CliQ and Low Island at Heaven in his home city of London. Elderbrook is the pseudonym for Alexander Kotz, who bends uplifting electronic music with well-crafted songwriting.

With six blocks of squares supporting visuals of pink and blue, Elderbrook opened with “Woman” from the “Talking” EP with a setup that revolved around him using two keyboards and various sample pads independently – showing an entitlement to his skills across the board.

Playing releases including his most famous collaboration with Camel Phat, “Cola”, Kotz showed he’s not only known as a creator but for his showmanship and performance, dancing around the microphone with moves that perfectly allowed him to play all parts whilst communicating the emotions behind the writing.

Hearing new tracks such as “Song For You” meant that the audience had a sneak peak into what’s coming next for the artist with highlights including the stripped back moments of “Feels Like A Sunday” showing off the soulful tones that Kotz has under his belt.

Catch Elderbrook at a show near you on his European tour now.
