Premiere: Eli Gosling Depicts The Trials Of Romance In Criminal Love
“Love can be tricky, but if it’s meant to be it will be.”
Eli Gosling depicts the trials and tribulations of romance in Criminal Love. With a slinky 80s undercurrent his new single is reflected in a youthful and refreshing way. It is a mellow track with an undulating melody, and soft, caressing vocals. Criminal Love takes a fusion of genres from R&B to electro-pop and has a subtle influence of one of Eli’s music idols, Post Malone. Criminal Love was co-written with singer-songwriter and producer Odunsi (The Engine).
“Criminal Love is about trying to steal the heart from someone you really like, it’s hard when you have feelings for someone, but they don’t notice you or feel the same way.” – Eli Gosling
Criminal Love is only the second single from the young artist released via Goldun Egg Records. His music tells the tales of everyday life from films to urban art, skate parks, and, of course, relationships. Criminal Love is part of Eli’s debut EP Blue Romance set for release in August.
Criminal Love is released on 25th June 2020.
