Toronto delivers us another sexy R&B sensation…we present to you NINETOFIVE, a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter who drops ‘Where Were You’ today produced by Jovan Jovanov. Upon seeing the heartthrob’s good looks you’d expect his new single to be based around the concept of being in love…but you thought wrong. He is bitter and angry, and delivers his “f*ck you” lyrics over a radio-friendly, mid-tempo Electro beat which, even though it throws you back to the ole-skool R&B, boy-band sound of 112, reminds of his Drake’s earlier material, such as the 2010 single ‘Find Your Love.’

Lyrics such as “where were you when I needed your love, telling me you’re sorry ain’t enough,” stay in your mind’s eye long after NINETOFIVE’s smooth vocals come to a close, as well as the infectious hook “am I wrong for fighting, am I wrong for trying?” Overall, it is the best introduction to a freshly talented artist entering the music scene. Don’t be surprised if you see his name in the songwriting credits for a Justin Bieber song in the near future. ‘Where Were You’ is bound to get the attention it deserves.

Keep an eye out for more new music from the talented NINETOFIVE.
