Make Summer Memories To The Young Franco Café Kitsuné Mix

By Grace LovejoyJuly 25, 2019
Make Summer Memories To The Young Franco Café Kitsuné Mix

Following the previous two Café Kitsuné mixes by Pat Lok and Jerry Bouthier, Kitsuné Musique has announced the third chapter of the Café Kitsuné Mix by the acclaimed Australian DJ and producer, Young Franco, and it’s truly the slice of sun we all need during the summer months.

Incorporating a range of genres, such as house, disco, synth-pop, afro-jazz and funk, Young Franco has stayed true to Kitsuné’s staple of supporting new artists by showcasing up and coming talent, that have a range of distinctive styles and approaches to their music.

You can tell the new Mix is incredibly well crafted and thought out for the season we’re currently in, as it perfectly fits into a multitude of summer listening settings, whether that’s escaping your responsibilities on a road-trip, an impromptu late afternoon barbeque with friends, or simply letting the time go by on a lazy summer day. It’s the soundtrack to all of your summer memories you are in the process of making.

Young Franco speaks on the Mix, “I wanted to create a laidback, ambient atmosphere and infuse it with lush and vibrant sounds. This mix will take your mind off your busy life while letting you have the perfect unique moment, sipping a coffee at the Café Kitsuné terrace in Palais Royal, Paris” and that is exactly what this mix does.

With a 16-piece track-list to sink your teeth into, you can expect to hear from the likes of Pastel, who brings all the chilled and laid-back electronic vibes you could want from a summer anthem. The mix of angelic vocals, alongside a quirky and electronic repetitive beat that is truly hypnotic, is brought to us by the early notes of Courage. We’re also joined by Lenny De Luca with a mixture of spaced out and cool beats that take you straight into the club, ready to hit the dancefloor.

This is the go-to mix for anyone who needs a soundtrack to their summer.
