Sometimes the most simple stripped back songs are the best. Acoustics which lull you into oblivion, lyrics that reach into your soul, and a male, female duet enough to break the sturdiest of hearts. You get all this, and more on Lily Kershaw‘s new single Now & Then recorded with Goody Grace.

Now & Then is the first single from Kershaw’s sophomore album Arcadia. Canadian artist Goody Grace heard the song and just had to be a part of it. The artists complement each other beautifully with their tender and expressive vocals.

The simple music video relays the song perfectly. There is a melancholic and nostalgic feel which reflects on the lyrics about a past relationship, a past life, “remember the roof-top parties, remember the friends, remember the way I love you now, and the way that I loved you then.
