DYLYN has something to say, and she’s not dressing it up in polite metaphors.

Change Me is raw, loud, and teetering on the edge of collapse like a last-ditch prayer shouted into the void.

It’s the kind of track that grabs you by the throat, shakes you up a little, and dares you to admit you’ve felt this lost too.

Right from the get-go, the song kicks in with an urgency that doesn’t let up. The guitars snarl, the drums hit like a racing pulse, and DYLYN’s voice has a crackling energy in her delivery.

It’s somewhere between a plea and a demand and wrapped in the kind of rock grit that makes you believe every word.

The production is clever too, layering distorted guitars and punchy drums that never overshadow the emotional weight of the lyrics.

Lyrically, it’s messy but in the best way. DYLYN is spiralling, clawing at something bigger than herself. “I’m asking God if he could change me” This is not exactly a subtle request.

You can practically hear the desperation in each repeated phrase, creating this hypnotic effect that pulls you deeper into DYLYN’s headspace.

Fans of Bishop Briggs or early Paramore will feel right at home here, but DYLYN isn’t just borrowing from the alt-rock playbook, she’s twisting it to fit her own unravelling moment.

The track is heavy without being overproduced, slick but still jagged around the edges.

There’s no resolution, no neat little bow at the end—just that pulsing, insistent refrain: Change me.

DYLYN’s Change Me doesn’t just stick in your head, you feel it buzzing under your skin long after it’s over.

DYLYN – Change Me Lyrics

Ahh, ahh
Ahh, ahh
Ahh, ahh

My head is in a bad way
Cut me loose and I’m done looking back
Ah ah ah ah
‘Cause I can’t even see straight
Keep it cool but I’m wasting my chance

I need a hit of reality, reality, reality
Reality, reality, reality, ah
Could you be reality, reality, reality
Reality, reality, reality, ah
I’m asking God if he could change me
Change me
I’m asking God if he could change me
Change me

And I’ve been in a bad state
Just a face but I’m done looking sad
I’m faking a path to heaven in my war paint
Going strange as I run off the tracks

I need a hit of reality, reality, reality
Reality, reality, reality, ah
Could you be reality, reality, reality,
Reality, reality, reality, ah
Could you be reality, reality, reality
Reality, reality, reality, reality

(I’m asking God if he could)

I’m asking God if he could change me
Change me
I’m asking God if he could change me
Change me

(Could you be reality)
Change me, Change me
I’m asking god if he could change me
Change me
