Weekend Spotlight Playlist: New Music From Dax, Kid Travis, Mr Little Jeans, and Duka

Weekend Spotlight Playlist: New Music From Dax, Kid Travis, Mr Little Jeans, and Duka

Thank God it’s the weekend, a quote we all love to hear, and with that, here are some new tracks out today to get yours started.

First on the playlist is Kid Travis, with an exciting new single titled BANG.

An infectious track with an intoxicating melody and vocals. His delivery is on point, as smooth vocals sync with the beat and instrumentals.

We also have Norwegian songwriter and vocalist Mr Little Jeans with the intoxicating track Better with You.

A delicate track with lush vocals that centers on the early stages of a relationship “I’m at my most creative and honest when I’m writing with people I know and trust,” Birkenes recalls. “It also helps if I can boss them around and be vocal about what I want, which is what I did most days.“

On the playlist, we have the ever-consistent Dax  with Dear Alcohol.

This release is different from his previously released up-tempo and high-energy tracks.

However, what it misses in energy, it packs in emotions. Lyrically the song delves into struggles with alcohol, and it is a song many will find relatable.

Dax never does anything by halves, so make sure you check out the accompanying music video.

Duka comes through with a thought-provoking single, Habit. And, he gets his message across both lyrically and in the arrangement. However, it is the smooth and relatable vocals that steal the show.

“This song is just a look in the mirror. It’s the realization that maybe you’re the red flag. The two-part nature of the song is a reminder that you can be as introspective and vulnerable as they come, but your habits will still show face from time to time. They’re habits for a reason. As much as we want them to go away, they’re hard to break.” – Duka
