26 Is A Fine Debut From Jake Adler
Philadelphia pop artist Jake Adler has recently dropped his debut album 26. Honest and heartfelt, the 12 track project is fairly stripped-back allowing Adler’s vocals and lyrics to shine over tender acoustics and pop arrangements. There is a sincerity and realism that appeals to listeners as well as an insight into Adler’s thoughts and experiences. Despite some sad themes, Adler conveys positive messages in the lyrics and melodies.
Songs that stand out include the opener Smile, Effortlessly and Without You. Adler shows proves his versatility in 26 and there are some catchy numbers such as Superhero and the toe-tapping Life Of The Party.
Named after his age, 26 is a fine debut from a promising pop star.
