TENDER – “Gravity/Infinity” Review: breathy rush, big-love stakes

“Gravity/Infinity” is TENDER in fast-forward: a racing arrangement with whisper-soft vocals, a love-won’t-break refrain, and an official video to match. Out now via Nettwerk.
The track starts like a feint and then floors it. Percussion and synths pick up speed while the vocal stays close and airy, weaving through the mix instead of trying to tower over it.
That contrast is the hook: momentum underneath, a hush on top, and the two clipped together so tightly that lines land right on the kick and guitar hits.
The writing is big-hearted without drifting into purple. “Gravity couldn’t pull us apart / Love me like infinity” is the thesis; everything else fills in the distance: a rest stop outside St Paul, a turnpike, a bridge you’re about to cross.
The scale keeps switching from cosmic to roadside, and the song handles both: grand promise in the chorus, small human snapshots in the verses.
What makes it stick is how tidy the chaos is. The fuzz and forward motion feel purpose-built for a live room, but the edges don’t smear; it’s loud and quick without losing its shape.
Fans of the UK duo’s alt-pop side will hear the familiar warmth, just pushed into a brighter, more urgent place.
The single was released on 8 September 2025, and a video is now live on the band’s channel.
