It’s time to brush off the doom and gloom of recent months and make your happy, summer soundtrack. You can start with Jay Marwaha’s new single Daydreamingwhich incorporates all those feel-good summer vibes.

The British-Indian born singer-songwriter says Daydreaming is a “tribute to the festival dancefloor when you’re stuck inside.” It bottles the feeling of laughing and dancing with friends after a long, hot day in the sun. Whether it’s the hazy vocals, euphoric trumpets and dance-ready drum and bass beat.

Daydreaming through the long day

Daydreaming follows previous single Sitting in the Park which is another fresh and summer invigorated song. Jay Marwaha has neo-soulful, jazz-inflected vocals and a unique style that’s infectious.

He wrote new single Daydreaming with Jacques Jenkins last year but they waited til now to release it in the hope it would inspire people and bring sunshine to their lives.
