Somewhere Is An Unapologetically Honest Single From Love Angeles

Somewhere Is An Unapologetically Honest Single From Love Angeles

Somewhere Is An Unapologetically Honest Single From Love AngelesLove Angeles releases the honest and relatable track Somewhere that delves into that familiar and confusing train of thought ‘could the grass be greener on the other side?’. It’s a feeling we are all guilty of experiencing at one point or another during dating, whether we would like to admit it or not!

The track begins with a repetitive guitar riff that’s delicate and beautiful in sound, which in turn creates the perfect foundation for the distinct lead vocals we hear next. The lyrics begin to unravel the meaning and emotions behind this song. We are soon joined by percussion instrumentation, building the song further to create suspense for the listener, until the track explodes into the amplified chorus, which will be sure to have everyone singing along.

She’s not the one in my dreams
Like the moon, I leave before the dawn.
But I know somewhere she’s got to be out there
I keep moving on
I keep moving on
I know she’s out there

“I wrote this song about a time in my life when I would just go through endless hookups/dates. It seemed like every night I was out drinking, hooking up and no matter who it was I always thought there was someone better out there. It touches on how a lot of people feel there is always something better than what they have.” – Love Angeles

I think that is what is so appealing about Somewhere. It is stripped back, to the point and unapologetically honest. However, it remains completely vulnerable the whole time, making the song all the more captivating and endearing.
