Love it or hate it, ’90s influenced trends are back in a big way, and all thanks to celebrities and influencers. Kim Kardashian has been spotted with longtime friend Paris Hilton sporting velour tracksuits from Kim’s SKIMS velour range.

Love Island’s Olivia Bowen has just launched a My Little Pony collection with In The Style, and Zara is featuring iconic ’90s images on their clothes such as Trolls, and Hello Kitty amongst a plethora of Disney characters. Gucci is all over the Disney theme too.

Other ’90s fashion items that are back with a vengeance are Bucket hats a la Netflix’s Emily In Paris (influencer Flavia Stuttgen just purchased one). And remember Kangol? The Kangol bucket hat was worn by artists from L.L. Cool J to Liam Gallagher in the ’90s which makes it even more sentimental now.

Loved by teens and adults, high waisted jeans are available in most high street stores – Kylie Jenner is really into the ’90s look at the moment. She loves her high-waisted ‘mom jeans’ and has been seen wearing black faded Levi’s Dad jeans.

Perfect for this season are tartan skirts as worn by Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green in Friends (Friends clothes and accessories also making a resurgence) and, of course, Alicia Silverstone and Stacey Dash as Cher and Dionne in classic ’90s film Clueless.

Chunky sneakers are everywhere from high street to high-end. Take your pick from Fila to Balenciaga. They may be ugly but are oh so comfortable and ever so on-trend.

So soak up the nostalgia whatever decade you were born in and enjoy these ’90s trends that look like they are here to stay.
