Riton & Kah-Lo Release Flavoursome Album ‘Foreign Ororo’

Riton and Kah-Lo

Riton and Kah-lo British producer Riton and Nigerian vocalist Kah-Lo released their 14 track collaborative album, “Foreign Ororo” on Friday the 28th September, featuring appearances from fellow Nigerian artists Mr Eazi and Davido amongst a diverse set of tunes to bless your ears and dancing feet to.

“Foreign Ororo” contains many of the tracks that we have heard previously from the pair with tracks like “Fake ID”, “Ginger” and “Rinse & Repeat” released ahead of the record preparing us for an album of danceable synth layers and vibrant characteristics of musical cultures.

The album spans moods across the board with tracks like “Catching Feelings”, emphasising emotive guitar lines to “Roll (Top Mid Bass)” protruding the dirtier side of Riton’s productions. “Immigration” is a track with Kah-Lo and Mr Eazi exclaiming being in London away from Africa set to playful melodic percussion.

Commenting on the release Kah-Lo said, “After being nominated for the Grammys, doing my first ever U.S and Australian tours, hitting more than 10 million streams on ‘Fake ID’, and making a remix for Selena Gomez, I’m extremely excited for Foreign Ororo to drop. It’s been super special working with Riton on these tracks and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”.

The duo has been rolling along with their successes as a collaborative team, originally developing their relationship from Twitter DM’s having now amassed over 140 million streams on their releases together. Riton and Kah-Lo can now celebrate the unveiling of their first full-length album together to what should be a necessary assurance of future collaborations to come.
