R&B Artist J.A.E Releases Remarkable Debut EP ‘With or Without’

By Lucy LernerJanuary 29, 2020
J.A.E

If you like smooth and sultry R&B then J.A.E is the artist for you and her debut EP ticks all the boxes. Following last year’s ‘Poison‘, London based soul singer-songwriter has released ‘With or Without’, a project which incorporates all her musical influences and has personal themes of life and love from the perspective of a modern woman.

J.A.E began her career as a poet under the alias of Jae Poet, J.A.E whilst completing her degree in 2013 – merging music with poetry to create ‘Moetry’. Her sound and love for performing took shape when she attended the renowned performing art schools Italia Conti and the Blackheath Conservatoire.

Despite being an emerging artist, J.A.E has already worked with well-known talents such as London artist, producer and DJ, p-rallel and go-to production maestro ATG.

J.A.E’s 8 track debut EP ‘With or Without’ is jam-packed with mellow flows that bloom with lush instrumentals and soothing vocals. J.A.E manages to make music that has the feel of throwback R&B tunes whilst staying fresh through lyrics and production. There is the feeling of self-empowerment as well as vulnerability – an overall well thought out and remarkable achievement for this young artist.
