Lawrence Taylor Announces His EP Release & Shares New Video

By Lucy LernerJune 12, 2019
Lawrence Taylor

Lawrence TaylorFollowing the release of the enigmatic ‘Poor Boy’ earlier this year, British singer-songwriter Lawrence Taylor returns with his brand new EP ‘Poor Boy’ set for release on June 14th via Glassnote Records.

To coincide with the news, Lawrence has revealed the stunning visuals for his new single ‘No Messiah’, which he performed live. It shows a huge depth of emotion in an intimate setting, but with the raw honesty, we have come to know and love from the Birmingham-born rising star.

Lawrence comments on his upcoming release, “This EP is so important to me because it’s a soundtrack to the last few years. We all go through ups and downs in life, we experience self-doubt or wonder if we’re on the right track – it’s an unavoidable part of any process, but you get there in the end… a little bit older and a little bit wiser. ‘No Messiah’ is about one part of that journey…”

This past month Lawrence has been on the road with Hunter & The Bear and will be supporting Tears For Fears in Germany this July before playing London’s Jigsaw festival at the Camden Assembly on August 7th.
