Klingande Lights Up London On ‘The Intimate Tour’ Ahead Of New Album

By Lewis McNairJune 4, 2019
Klingande

KlingandeKlingande is as much a brand as he is a musician – the multi-platinum selling, French DJ & producer stopped off in London recently on ‘The Intimate Tour’, in support of his forthcoming debut album – wittily titled ‘The Album’.
The sold-out show at London Bridge’s Omeara was a major success for Klingande – accompanied on stage with what is becoming his signature use of prominent live piano and the saxophone. It was interesting to witness how Klingande kept the vibe moving, while the Omeara venue kept the South London crowds drinks cheap and dancing into the early hours of the morning.

Klingade, real name Cédric Steinmyller, recently released his new single ‘Ready For Love’ with the UK’s own Joe Killington and French harmonica player Greg Zlap on Ultra Music.

Having just returned from Miami Music Week to host his fifth edition of the ‘Klingande’s Playground’ party series – Klingande is a man on fire at the moment who has potential to recognize and seize his moment. With the likes of Autograf, CID, Dom Dolla and Goldfish to name a few playing alongside the Frenchman at the Sagamore Hotel, the event was a major success for the DJ, showing a clear sign of what the future holds. Meanwhile earlier this month Klingande embarked on North American run of his ‘The Intimate Tour’, with the majority of the dates selling out.

This London show is one of many European dates that are in support of the new double side album. CD1 features brand-new productions, including his single ‘By The River’ featuring UK blues artist Jamie N Commons – while CD2 is a rework of the French producer’s previous hits, including the multi-platinum selling single ‘Jubel’, ‘RIVA’ and his rendition of Foster The People’s ‘Pumped Up Kicks’.

Klingande heads back to the US for festival dates through the summer, in the meantime check out his website to experience his ‘Fan Playground’ and new info on upcoming gigs and new music.
