Kid Apollo Drops Lo-Fi Single Leave Her

By Marcus AdetolaDecember 10, 2022
Kid Apollo Drops Lo-Fi Single Leave Her

We are excited about the single leave her from London-based trio kid apollo and their accompanying self-directed video.

The track offers a spectacular glimpse of what teenage life is like in London, although we are pretty sure others would find it relatable.

Their calming blend of R&B, lo-fi, and electronica can be described as soothing and introspective, and the perfect antidote for the anxious, and perpetually online minds and emotional conflicts that young adults contend with.

The carefully measured down-tempo pace, delicate vocals on the soft drums, and laidback instrumentals create a dreamy and melodic soundscape that is alluring.

Speaking on the song’s lyrical meaning, Jimmy said: “This song talks about how I feel when you’re being pulled in two different directions but don’t know which way will sit best with you. Everyone around you tries to have good intentions but ultimately, only you can figure it all out. The song needed lots of space to breathe sonically in order to contradict the message of the actual song.”

Kid apollo consists of twin brothers (and producers) Felix and Theo Ratigan and singer and producer Jimmy HM.

The track is taken from their second EP u the real star here via Sweat Entertainment.
