Juvenal Maze Entices With New Singles ‘In A Place’/ ‘She Just Wanna’

By Lucy LernerMay 3, 2019
Juvenal Maze

Juvenal MazeJuvenal Maze tests the borders of the R&B genre with his latest releases ‘In A Place’/ ‘She Just Wanna’ which are taken from his upcoming EP. Lyrics pour like silk over opulent hip-hop beats with a dreamy electro-R&B soundscape and soulful vibes. Both tracks compliment each other and are a perfect introduction to the young singer-songwriter and producer. ‘In A Place’ lies on a bed of gauzy tones with a subtle trap beat and electronic flourishes. ‘She Just Wanna’ is more hip-hop as the beat swirls and glimmers and Juvenal drops his poetic flow.

Juvenal was born and raised in East London with Congolese heritage and he proves he can combine various influences effortlessly. He showed an interest in music from a young age delving into his parent’s record collection, then during secondary school he caught the Grime wave. After being introduced to music production by a friend, Juvenal spent his time absorbed in writing and creating music at his local youth centre and at home.

This young man has certainly seduced us with his debut – a fantastic introduction to a talented artist.

Juvenal Maze has released ‘In A Place/She Just Wanna’ on SOULUVMUZIQ distributed through The Orchard.
