Neon Music attended the launch event of VOXI x Phones, at Studio Spaces in East London last night and mingled with the likes of Radio and TV Presenter Maya Jama, Premier League footballer Wilfred Zaha and a host of well-known TV stars and celebrities. The jam-packed party saw electrifying live performances from top UK music acts Jax Jones and Mabel, alongside DJ sets from homegrown talent Monki and Maribou State.

VOXI by Vodafone is the UK’s first mobile offering dedicated to customers aged 29 and under. VOXI x Phones is an affordable and flexible smartphone with no upfront cost and 0% interest and features endless social media with new handsets priced from £17 a month. The VOXI House party was live-streamed on Boiler Room.tv where Mabel and Jax Jones performed their smash-hit collaboration ‘Ring Ring’ as well as many other well-known tracks and got the whole crowd moving.

Maya Jama and Wilfred Zaha spoke of their secrets to success in the world of social media at the event and singer Mabel commented that she has used social media to bolster her career as a music artist, “The best thing you can do is you can use it to reach out to people, I still reach out to people in terms of collaborations. Don’t be afraid to just hit anybody up and be like ‘I really like this song’ to me that’s been the most successful way how all my collaborations have come about.”

Head of VOXI, Dan Lambrou, said: “We believe that young people should be able to access the latest technology and best deals as easily as everyone else. They’ve told us they want the latest phones but don’t want to be tied down with a lengthy mobile contract and data allowance is really important. That’s why VOXI and PayPal have come up with a solution to provide the freedom and flexibility that they need combined with Endless Social Media.”

VOXI by Vodafone which gives customers endless social media is such an exciting idea, aimed at the youth and those who thrive on the latest technology.
