Brooklyn’s synth-pop wizards Great Good Fine Ok have teamed up with indie stalwart Andrew McMahon for “Let’s Talk,” crafting the kind of dreamy electro-pop that belongs in a neon-lit bedroom at midnight.

The track strips away the typical emotional facades, diving straight into raw territory – health scares, family drama, career fears – while somehow making you want to dance through the existential crisis.

“This honest and vulnerable collaboration explores our greatest fears and insecurities,” the band shares, and they aren’t kidding.

Between the pristine electronic production and the way Sandler and McMahon’s voices dance around each other, they’ve managed to make anxiety sound downright irresistible.

The track, set to appear on their upcoming EP ‘SEVEN’ (dropping January 24 via Nettwerk), stands out in GGFO’s catalog precisely because it doesn’t try to pretty up the mess.

The line “The more I love somebody the more I wish I knew myself” punches through the glittering synths and pulsing rhythms with startling clarity.

It’s the sound of two artists turning their therapy notes into something that sparkles, shimmers, and somehow makes you feel less alone in your late-night overthinking sessions.

GGFO and McMahon’s “Let’s Talk” is a soundtrack for anyone who’s ever stared at the ceiling at 3 AM wondering about, well, everything.

Great Good Fine Ok Let’s Talk Lyrics

Let’s talk about fear
My invitation to the party never showed up in the mail
I’m just tryin’ to keep it real
Cigarette nightcap push it till my body fails
Until my songs are no good
And the cancer comes back
Will my kid be left with nothing
Are my parents gonna pass
Before I find the strength to forgive them?

Let’s talk about how I’ve been here before
(Let’s talk, let’s talk)
Let’s talk about why I keep closing doors
(Let’s talk, let’s talk)
Let’s talk about how to move on when you’re
Face down on the floor
(Let’s talk, let’s talk)
Let’s talk about how I wish we were talking more

Let’s talk about trust
The more I love somebody the more I wish I knew myself
Yea maybe you’re enough
You always knew the difference
Between what I said and what I felt
The sun is gonna fall, quiet cannon ball
Shadows on the wall by the TV
If I’m being honest I knew you would save me

Let’s talk about how I’ve been here before
(Let’s talk, let’s talk)
Let’s talk about why I keep closing doors
(Let’s talk, let’s talk)
Let’s talk about how to move on when you’re
Face down on the floor
(Let’s talk, let’s talk)
Let’s talk about how I wish we were talking more

I can handle this
Never let me slip away
I can handle this
If you’re there we can share the weight

Let’s talk about how I’ve been here before
(Let’s talk, let’s talk)
Let’s talk about why I keep closing doors
(Let’s talk, let’s talk)
Let’s talk about how to move on when you’re
Face down on the floor
(Let’s talk, let’s talk)
Let’s talk about how I wish we were talking more
