Float On A Summer Wave With The FNP Remix Of ‘Lessons In Love’

By Lucy LernerJuly 31, 2018

Float on a summer wave with the FNP remix of Peppermint Heaven’s hit single ‘Lessons In Love’. The track evokes images of the sunlight glittering on the ocean, shimmering sequins catching the light, pretty much anything sparkly and twinkly with it’s multi-faceted yet lush soundscape.

Juno & Spark are Peppermint Heaven and their own brand of 80s style indie pop has amassed a big following over the last five years. Their last album ‘Curious Things’ took a unique take on 80s music with their own distinctive twist. The duo is known for sourcing some of the best emerging talents for their remixes and songs including ‘You’ (Oscuro Remix), ‘Sun Goes Down’ (Chords Remix) and ‘Monday Morning’ (Revaux Remix) have been incredibly popular with over 50,000 streams.

For ‘Lessons in Love’, Peppermint Heaven have collaborated with rising East London Producer FNP who has put a nu-disco spin on the song and elevated it to a level that will take listeners to a heightened state of euphoria. With a lo-fi house vibe and a dash of nostalgia creeping through it incorporates a multitude of themes, layers, and textures through its tight production. The song reveals a talented palette of creativity from both sets of artists without losing any originality.

FNP splits his time between producing for other London-based artists and running the label Slinkiemusic (Fans include Avalon Emerson, Ross From Friends and Paleman). He has put together a playlist exclusively for Neon Music of his favourite summer anthems.
