British R&B trio FLO continue their victory lap with “Recently Deleted,” a sultry offering that proves the girl group resurgence has found its leaders.
Released 12th December 2025 as part of their expanded Access All Areas: Unlocked deluxe edition, the track arrives with the confidence of artists who know exactly who they are.
Written by all three members (Jorja Douglas, Renée Downer, and Stella Quaresma) alongside Maleík Loveridge, Luc Foster, Daniel Taylor, Sean Wander, Uzoechi Emenike, and Vania Khaleh-Pari, “Recently Deleted” captures that specific modern heartbreak where your ghost haunts someone’s camera roll.
Production from Loveridge, Foster, Taylor, and MARL Farrell walks the line between throwback sensuality and contemporary sheen.
The sound? Pure butter. Silky harmonies glide over a mid-tempo groove that recalls early 2000s R&B without feeling derivative.
The production complements FLO’s vocal runs with layered harmonies carrying the tension.
Lyrically, the track operates from unbothered power. It doesn’t pine. It’s about living rent-free in an ex’s recently deleted folder, lingering in that 30-day purgatory before photos disappear forever.
“Better hope she don’t see my face / Still sitting in your recently deleted,” they sing with knowing smirk intact.
It’s the modern update to being unable to delete someone’s number, except now the evidence sits in plain sight if anyone bothers to look.

What separates FLO from their contemporaries isn’t just vocal ability (though they’ve got that sorted). It’s the bridges. One thing about FLO: they’re going to give you a bridge that shifts the entire energy, and “Recently Deleted” delivers exactly that.
The middle eight adds vulnerability beneath the bravado, transforming confident swagger into something more honest.
The music video, directed by Marlon Cang and Sienna Navaa and released 18th December 2025, opens in a florist shop bursting with colour.
Roses, lilies, and sunflowers in full bloom frame a member in a statement orange fur coat, the visual evoking beauty that refuses to wilt.
The setting shifts to a moody green-screen backdrop featuring a plush emerald velvet couch. Wine glasses sit on the coffee table alongside candles and stacked books.
The trio lounges in black-and-white slip dresses, embodying that grown and sexy aesthetic without trying too hard.
Later scenes move to deep red cinema seats, the lighting dropping to create something more intimate and shadowy.
The colour palette alternates between vibrant greens and sensual reds, creating visual tension that mirrors the song’s emotional push-pull.
There’s no elaborate storyline or heavy choreography. Just three women owning their space, the camera capturing close-ups that highlight their chemistry and individual presence. The simplicity works.
This track arrives at a moment when the girl group conversation has genuine momentum, but FLO aren’t riding a wave.
They’re creating one. While others rely purely on nostalgic callbacks, FLO are doing the thing that keeps groups relevant long-term: they’re singing.
