Amistat’s Enchanting Melody: Unveiling the Magical Journey of Still Believe

Amistat's Enchanting Melody: Unveiling the Magical Journey of Still Believe

Amistat brings listeners a stunning new track called Still Believe this spring. This is one of the most beautiful releases that I have heard this year. The song features in their EP a moment in the sun, released on March 8th.

Set against a music video in black and white which explores the journey of the duo, the song speaks of relationships and the joy of falling in love and how this love grows through belief in your significant other. “When I am on my knees, my heart will not be weak, though fear now covers me, I still believe.”

Amistat is comprised of twin brothers Jan and Josef Prasil. They originate from Germany and grew up in Italy. They have a beautifully colourful background with their parents originating from the Czech Republic and Australia – a place that soon became their home to advance their careers in music.

The new track is upbeat, joyful and fun to sing along to. The duo takes influence from other famous acoustic artists such as Ben Howard and Simon and Garfunkel. Their music is a treat for the ears but seeing them live is something altogether more exciting. The music the pair creates is authentic to their souls, with the lyrics speaking of true emotions regarding true love, life and lessons they have learned whilst living on the road.

You can hear the synergy of connection that Josef and Jan share when they perform through their tight-knit harmonies. Jan says, “We were definitely experimenting with our sound. In any partnership or relationship, you have to be the one who’s strong and holds it all together sometimes. There were times when my brother and I were struggling, so we’d look to others for support. It’s about admitting you need family, friends, or partners. You say, I’m here for you if you need me, and I hope you are too when I need you.”

Catch the duo’s new release Still Believe and enjoy the wondrous sound of Amistat. It’s a beautiful listen.
