A Positive Take On The 21 st Century Love Song By CoCo and The Butterfields

By Montana TallentireAugust 19, 2018

The title track ‘Monsters’ from CoCo and the Butterfields upcoming EP plays a positive twist on the 21st-century love story. Despite the strident title and eerie imagery, the song is a gentle and exquisite piece that tells a story of promises. The compassionate song reassures the listener that regardless of their inner demons they will remain being loved. With Tom Twyman’s insightful lyrics accompanied with Dulcima Showan’s captivating vocals, alongside gliding guitars, beautiful harmonies, and an inspirational chorus it uplifts every person that encounters it.

The release of ‘Monsters’ is the first glimpse of what fans can expect from the band’s upcoming EP released on October 26th. With four additional songs, CoCo and the Butterfields touches on stories about love, society and the ever-growing topic surrounding mental health. Whilst showcasing the phenomenal talents of the multi-instrumentalist Indie-Pop group.
