A New Year & Single From Alessandro Ciminata With ‘Love Locked Out’

By Lucy LernerJanuary 12, 2018
Alessandro Ciminata - Love Locked Out

Alessandro Ciminata - Love Locked OutAlessandro Ciminata smashes his way into 2018 with his new single ‘Love Locked Out’. The song continues the theme of sparse electronica with heartfelt vocals and lyrics the singer-songwriter brought to the scene last year with critically acclaimed releases ‘Last Call’ and ‘Demons’.

Alessandro Ciminata describes ‘Love Locked Out’ as a metaphor. “It means you have to keep your soul open, let someone see inside you. Let them embrace your problems; if shared they become easier to face. It’s an invitation to trust others.”

Lyrics are poignant, “You keep my love locked out, when your heart breaks down, you keep my love locked out, let me get close to you, find a way to get lost in you“.

Co-produced by Jack Gourlay (James Arthur, Jess Glynne, Jack Garratt, Tom Odell, Rhodes) ‘Love Locked Out’ manages to feel atmospheric with a catchy chorus, a retro undertone with an Indie feel and Ciminata’s genuine, unique style projected through the breathy, expansive soundscape. With an exciting debut year in 2017 including an appearance on Spotify Fresh Finds, a show at Ronnie Scott’s and supporting Australian singer-songwriters Ainslie Wills and Dustin Tebbutt on sold-out shows for Communion Music, this year promises even more for the talented artist.
