Kensington Moore releases her new single ‘I Don’t Like You Anymore’ today and it’s a pleasing piece of electro-pop with dreamy harmonies and an earworm of a melody.

Kensington Moore spent many years growing up in Nashville and moved to LA at the age of nineteen, only two years ago. You can hear these various influences in her music from the sounds of Nashville to RnB, pop, and jazz. Her work ethic and vocals sound way beyond her years and it’s worth checking out previous releases including her cover of The Weeknd’s ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ where she really puts her own unique stamp on it.

Her new single (as well as several other tracks to come in 2019) was written and produced in collaboration with Grammy-nominated engineer and mixer Travis Ference (Skylar Grey, Alex Da Kid, The Night Game), and Billboard Top 10, 6x multi-platinum (RIAA) producer and bassist Corey Britz (Bush, The Voice, Dave Stewart, Atlas Genius).

Kensington describes the meaning behind the song, it “ is about a guy I thought I loved but was too afraid to say it,” she continues. “The title has an underlying message of actually meaning ‘I love you.’ The guy I was dating at the time broke up with me before I could show him the song, so I guess it can be taken literally now too.”

Kensington has just completed her very first SXSW performance in 2019 and as she relishes in the release of her fantastic brand new single, we can be assured we have lots more to look forward to from Ms Moore.
