Knowsum's "The Phase": Berlin Nights Meet Cosmic Heights

Ever wondered what late-night Berlin studio sessions sound like when filtered through vintage synthesisers and a healthy dose of existentialism?

That’s what you get with “The Phase,” the second single from Knowsum’s upcoming album “Cosmic Breeze.”

Behind the mixing desk in his Berlin hideout, Knowsum cooks up something that would make both 70s funk pioneers and modern indie experimentalists nod in approval.

The track floats on waves of warm analog synths while playful rhythms keep your head bobbing.

“You want the love that you don’t give,” he muses over a groove that feels like sunshine through stained glass.

The lyrics might ponder binary worlds and reality’s facade, but the music?

Pure motion. Each element from the retro-tinged keyboards to the swooshing psychedelic effects that swirls together like cream in cosmic coffee.

Perfect for those moments when you’re questioning everything but still want to dance about it.

Or as Knowsum puts it: “It’s just a phase through time and space.” Aren’t we all?
